Announcement

At the monthly church council meeting on May 9th, the Senior Pastor Search Committee for Salem Church announced they had completed their deliberations and unanimously advanced Pastor Matt Hebbert for consideration for the position of Senior Pastor for the Church. A motion was made and approved by the Church Council to bring the selection of Pastor Matt Hebbert to a vote of the church membership as required by the Constitution on May 28, 2023, following the Sunday service.

If approved, Pastor Hebbert will fill the senior pastor position on a part-time basis until approximately June 2024, at which time he will have completed his teaching commitment at the Guernsey-Sunrise school district and go full-time for the church.

As required by the Church Constitution this special meeting of the Church Membership will be advertised from the pulpit for two Sundays, prior to the special meeting on May 28th. Everyone is encourage to attend this service and meeting to cast their vote and let their feelings be know about the future of their church.
